When Carole
Sharples established Halcyon Holistic Therapies in September 2005 she knew there
was a need for her professional treatments locally but she did not imagine

Carole lives in Shawclough and gave up a 22
year career in teaching to take a Diploma in Holistic Therapy, and practised
for 2 years in Castleton before opening her own premises in Shawclough
in Autumn 2005. Since then her clientele has developed and grown and, as Carole says, "to the extent that most return regularly to experience treatments that, amongst other benefits, relieve stress, improve the quality of sleep, promote uplift and relaxation and relieve pain and tension". |

Carole has had particular success with Reflexology, Advanced
Back Massage and various Aromatherapy treatments. Carole

| Carole's Qualifications + BSc (Hons) Psychology and Biology + VTCT Diploma in Holistic Therapies, IIHHT, FICHT Carole is a Fellow of the International Council of Holistic Therapists (ICHT) , which is one of the six councils in the Federation on Holistic Therapists (FHT). The FHT is the largest organisation in the UK, representing over 20,000 professional therapists.
