Hopi Ear Candles gently

What are hopi ear candles
and how are they used? Hopi ear candles are long thin candles, a similar shape to a pencil. The "Biosun" ear candles which Carole uses, are about 22cm long and have a burning time of 10-12 minutes. They are not like normal candles where wax drips down the side - instead they are wrapped in fabric so this does not happen. As you lie on your side, a Biosun candle is gently inserted into your ear into a comfortable position. This end of the candle has a filter. Carole will hold the earcandle firmly in place throughout the whole process. Each ear is treated with a new earcandle. Facial massage is also incorporated into the treatment. During the treatment, a light suction action and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. Biosun Earcandles are made by hand, and due to Biosun's quality assurance standards the candles have obtained the prestigious CE mark (93/42-EEC) for medical devices in Europe and are regularly tested by independent companies. They are made using pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs such as St. John's Wort, camomile and pure essential oils. |
